Kontentino is not just a tool, it's a platform for Planning, Collaboration, Scheduling, Approving, and Analyzing your social media content.

This article will explain all of these features and how they work.

1. Connect Your Social Media Profiles

- Start by navigating to the Profile Selector at the top left corner of your screen.

- Click the Add profile button.

- Select the type of social media network, log in, and follow the necessary steps.

- Once connected, the profile will appear in the Profile Selector.

- Click and open the profile to access your calendar and start creating posts.

2. Create a Profile Group (Optional)

- To manage multiple profiles and content in one calendar, you can create a Profile group to avoid switching between profiles manually.

3. Create a New Post

- Click the +Post button inside the calendar.

- In the post-creation modal, choose the format of the post (e.g., Video, Link, Photo).

- The content widget will adapt based on the format selected.

- Upload media from your device or select from the Media Library.

4. Add Content to Your Post

- You can add copy to your post, emojis, hashtag presets, links, translations, and fill in any other fields you find necessary.

- Additionally, you can use Audience restrictions if needed to limit your content's visibility.

- Optionally, you are able to write a first comment that will be posted alongside your post by toggling the option and inserting your text.

5. Live Preview of Your Post

- Throughout the post-creation process, a live preview of your post will be visible on the left side of your screen.

- The preview shows how your post will look when live on a specific social media platform.

- You can switch between desktop and mobile views.

6. Set Publishing Date and Time

- Once you're satisfied with the post, set up its publishing date and time.

- You can also select a content plan for the post.

⭐ NOTE: If no publishing date is set, the post will be saved as a Post Idea and can be accessed in the left navigation panel of the Calendar.

7. Boost Budget Feature

- The Boost budget feature serves for informative purposes for you and your team.

8. Organize Posts with Labels

- Labels are used for better content organization and navigation.

- You can choose an existing label or create a new one by typing it.

9. Internal Notes

- You can leave internal notes (reminders, instructions, or any information) for yourself or your colleagues in the Notes field.

10. Saving the Post

- Click the Save button to save your post.

11. Communication Section

- After saving a post, the Communication section is available on the right side of the Post Preview for interaction.

- There are two sections: Internal (for colleagues) and Client (for clients).

- You can use emojis, attachments, replies, pins, edit messages and view user cards in this section.

12. Navigate with the Quick Bar

- The Quick bar at the top of your screen helps you to navigate through posts with arrow buttons and copy links for internal or external use.

- You can duplicate, move, and delete posts easily.

13. Assign Tasks

- Click the Assign task button to open the task assignment window.

- Select the assignee from your team and leave instructions about the task.

- Decide if the task is urgent and whether to send an email notification.

- Confirm by clicking the Assign button.

- The assignee will receive a notificatio,n and once the task is completed, you will be notified.

14. Send for Approval

- Click the Send for approval button to seek approval for your post.

- Choose between internal approval (admin or manager roles) and client approval (client roles).

- Share the post externally via a link if needed.

- Select Client approval, choose the recipient, leave a message, and confirm.

- The client will review the post and either approve it or request a rework with feedback.

15. Scheduling the Post

- Check the Post completion widget for any scheduling errors.

- Click the Schedule button to schedule the post.

- Optionally, you can schedule Dark posts for targeted audiences.

16. Viewing Scheduled Posts

- The post will be visible in your Calendar or other views like Board, List, or Grid (available for IG only).

- You can use custom labels to categorize posts for quick identification and organization.

- Filters help you sort content by labels, post format, status, assigned tasks, or content plan.

17. Returning to Current Date

- The Today button will take you straight to the current date in the Calendar.

18. Customizing Post Previews

- Toggle Post previews on or off under the three dots icon above the Calendar.

19. Searching for Specific Posts

- Use the Sidebar to search for posts distributed across the Calendar.

- Search for specific posts by inserting parts of their captions into the search field.

20. Different Views

Board View

  • Sorts posts into columns based on their status. You can use Drag-and-Drop for quick actions.

List View

  • A spreadsheet layout for detailed, easy-to-navigate content.

Grid View

  • Allows you to visualize your Instagram feed before it goes public. The Swap feature exchanges post dates and times.

21. Utilizing Time Savers

- Select multiple posts and use Time Savers to duplicate, send for approval, or schedule them in bulk.

22. Dashboard

- The Dashboard provides an overview of your profiles, posts, and tasks.

- Check your Calendar and planned posts.

- The My Tasks section displays tasks assigned to you, serving as a personal to-do list.

- The Waiting for Tasks section shows tasks you've assigned to others, sorted by channel and user.

23. Exploring Kontentino’s Analytics

- Analytics is available for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages.

- Choose from three sections: Post Performance, Page Performance, and Competition Analysis.

- Post Performance View numbers for all posts published in a selected time period.

- Page Performance: See overall results for your page and download metrics as graphs.

- Competition Analysis: Compare your performance with competitors on Facebook and Instagram.
