We've updated how you can schedule Facebook posts, giving you two flexible methods to choose from. See the details below!

πŸ”΅ Method 1: Direct Scheduling (post exported at publishing time)

Click on the Schedule button and your post will be exported to Facebook only at the scheduled time. This allows you to make last minute changes and schedule months in advance without limitation.

πŸš€ Advantages

  • Quick and easy

  • No need to adjust posts in both Kontentino and Facebook

πŸ”΅ Method 2: Asynchronous Scheduling (export your posts to Facebook in advance)

Access this method by clicking on the arrow next to the Schedule button and choose to "Export in advance." The post will switch to the "Exported in advance" status and will be accessible in your page's Facebook planner. (Note, that due to API limitations you can only export your posts up to 29 days in advance.)

πŸ‘‰πŸ»This method is beneficial for users looking make adjustments that are only accessible natively directly on Facebook before the post goes live.

πŸš€ Advantages

  • Greater flexibility to add elements to your posts like location, tags, or Alt text etc., or find the post IDs in Ads Manager to use in paid ads

  • Allows for review and corrections directly on the platform before posting

Conclusion

Both methods cater to different needs: Direct Scheduling for quick posts and Asynchronous Scheduling for more control and planning. Choose the one that fits your workflow best.
