  1. Create a Global Page

Go to Settings > KontentBase, and click on + New profile.

Enter your brand’s name, select a social media platform, and upload your logo. Don’t forget to choose a language for spell-checking or exporting content.

    Assign Local Channels

Click on the + sign to add Local channels. These profiles need to be added to Kontentino before creating a Global page.

In the settings, you can add and adjust content plans, create a post checklist, and assign users to the Global page.

    Create a Global Post

When in Calendar, open the profile selector, select the Global page, and start creating a new post as you normally would – either by clicking on a specific day or by clicking on New > Post.

As you draft a Global post, you can leave instructions for your localized teams in the Local posts section. These instructions won’t be published – they have only informative purposes and will aid your team working on the localized content.

Select Local channels to copy the post onto, and hit Save. Your edits will automatically apply to all Local posts across the selected channels. (Similarly, identical posts will automatically be created across the selected channels.)

    Manage a Global Draft

You have four options for the Global draft – assign tasks, send it for approval, distribute it to Local channels, or you can schedule it if no local changes are needed.

A Global draft will appear as locked in Local channels and cannot be edited until it’s distributed.

    Distribute a Global Post

When a Global draft is distributed, your Local posts will unlock, allowing your localized teams to work on them like on any other (regular) posts.

If you make any changes at the global level, after you save them, they will be pushed to all Local posts and appear as Pending.

You can click on Review pending changes in the Local post section at the local level to see a detailed list of changes.

From here, you can choose to apply the changes, skip them, or select the Not now option to keep them as Pending.

Finalize and Schedule a Local Post

Once your Local post is ready, hit the Schedule button, and you’re all set!
