Learn how to connect different social media profiles in your Kontentino with this guide. πŸ‘‡πŸ»

How to connect your profiles

  1. Go to Profile selector (in the top left corner of your screen)

  2. Click Add profile

  3. Select the social media you want to connect

  4. Log in and proceed following the required steps

  5. Select the pages or profiles you want to connect based on your chosen social media

βœ… Once the profiles are connected, you will be able to see them in the Profile selector.

After choosing a profile, you will see a Calendar where you can start creating, planning, and scheduling your posts.

Disconnected profiles

🚨 Your profile may get disconnected over time (e.g., Facebook requires a reconnect every 90 days).

In case you see a big Connect button next to your profile in the Profile selector, do the following:

  1. Click the Connect button

  2. Follow the instructions required by the given social media network

Your profile will be reconnected within a couple of seconds.

Profile groups

If you wish to see multiple profiles in one Calendar, you can create a Profile group.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» To do so:

  1. Open the Profile selector

  2. Click Create profile group

  3. Now you can name the profile group, manage its users, add a logo, and select the profiles you want to add

  4. Click the Create button

πŸ”΅ After you have successfully created a Profile group, you will find it by clicking on the Profile selector and under the Profile groups category. Simply select the Profile group you want to use, and you will see all of its content in the Calendar.

Managing profiles

All your profiles can be managed in Settings β†’ Profiles. This section is accessible to admins and managers only. The admin view and manager view vary due to different role permissions:

  • Admins can access and edit all profiles:

β†’ My profiles = profiles that are assigned to them

β†’ All profiles = all profiles connected within the whole account, including those that are not assigned to the admin specifically

β†’ Global profiles = all global profiles connected (the Global Content Manager [GCM] module needs to be activated)

β†’ Deleted profiles = all profiles that have been deleted from the whole account; admins can restore them here by clicking the Restore button

  • Managers can only access profiles that have been assigned to their name (My profiles) or Deleted profiles (managers can also restore deleted profiles)
