Each post in Kontentino goes through different stages — from the first draft to approval and final publishing. These statuses keep your team aligned, make approvals transparent, and ensure that everyone knows what’s next.
Breakdown of all post statuses and what they mean 👇
✏️ Private Draft
A Private Draft is visible only to the person who created it. It’s an early version or idea of a post — not visible to others and won’t be published unless it’s scheduled.
🗒️ Draft
A Draft is visible to all admins and managers with access to the assigned profiles. It’s still a working version and won’t be published until scheduled.
👥 Assigned
The post has been assigned to a team member to perform an action — such as adding media, reviewing copy, or making edits.
✅ Done
The assigned team member has completed their task and marked the post as done. It still won’t be published automatically until it’s scheduled.
🕵️ Pending Internal Approval
The post has been sent for internal approval — typically to a manager or team lead. The reviewer can approve or reject the post with comments for edits.
🔁 Internal Rework
An internal reviewer has rejected the post and sent it back for rework, including notes on what needs to be changed. Once updated, the post can be reassigned or sent for approval again.
🟢 Internally Approved
The post has been approved internally and is ready for the next step — whether that’s sending it to a client for review or scheduling it for publishing.
🧑💼 Pending Client Approval
The post has been sent to a client for approval. Clients can approve or reject the post with comments.
💡 Note: Clients can only see posts that have been shared with them for approval, plus posts with “Approved by client”, “Client rework”, "Scheduled" and "Posted" statuses.
📝 Client Rework
The client has requested changes and sent the post back with rework notes. Once updates are made, it can be reassigned or sent for approval again.
💬 Approved by Client
The client has approved the post, and it’s ready to be scheduled or published. You can still make last-minute edits if needed.
⏰ Scheduled
The post has been scheduled to go live at a specific date and time. Kontentino will automatically publish it at the set time.
🚀 Posted
The post has been successfully published on the connected social media platform.
📤 Exported in Advance (Facebook only)
This means the post was exported to Facebook Planner ahead of time using the “Export in advance” feature.
It allows users to make final tweaks directly in Facebook’s native environment before the post goes live.
