Post Status After Publishing
Once your post goes live, its status in Kontentino changes to reflect its current state. Here’s what each status means:
✅ Posted
Your post has been successfully published to the connected social media platform. This is the ideal outcome - your content is now live and visible to your audience!
📤 Exported in advance
Your post was exported to the social network’s native scheduler (available for Facebook). This means the post is queued in Facebook’s own publishing system and will go live at the scheduled time.
💡 Tip: Exported posts let you make final tweaks directly in Facebook’s native planner before going live (e.g., adding alt text, location, or boosting the post).
⚠️ Failed
Something went wrong during the publishing process. Don’t worry - this usually has a simple fix! Common causes include expired tokens or connection issues. See the Troubleshooting section for solutions.
🔄 Scheduling
The post is currently in the process of being scheduled. This status is temporary—it will change to Posted, Scheduled, or Failed shortly.

FAQs
Q: Can I edit a post after it’s been published?
A: Once a post is published, you can still edit the post in Kontentino, but the changes will not be reflected on the published post on social media. If you need to make changes, you’ll need to edit the post directly on the social network or duplicate it in Kontentino and schedule a new version.
Q: How long does it take for analytics to appear?
A: Analytics typically start appearing within a few hours after publishing, though some metrics may take 24–48 hours to fully populate. You can manually trigger a sync in the Analytics section to get the latest data.
Q: Why can’t I see the “See Post” button for my Instagram post?
A: The “See Post” button appears when a direct link to the post is available. For some scheduling methods (like push notification scheduling for Instagram), the link may not be available.
Q: Can I delete a published post from Kontentino?
A: You can delete the post from Kontentino, but this only removes it from Kontentino - it doesn’t delete the live post from the social network. To remove the actual post, you’ll need to delete it directly on the social media platform.
Q: How often should I refresh my Facebook connection?
A: Facebook access tokens expire every 90 days. We recommend refreshing your connection proactively to avoid publishing failures.
