Good to know
⚠️ Reels only. The music library is available for Instagram Reels — not Stories, carousels, image posts, or Facebook Reels.
⚠️ Tracks play from the beginning. Trimming or choosing a custom start point isn't possible yet — Instagram's API doesn't currently offer this option.
⚠️ New post experience required. Adding music is only available when the New post experience (Beta) is turned on — enable it from the settings icon in the upper right corner of the Calendar
FAQs

A: Not at the moment — this feature is available for Reels only. For Stories, you can schedule via Manual Publishing or add music directly in the Instagram app before posting.
Q: Can I choose which part of the track plays?
A: Not yet. The track always starts from the beginning, as Instagram's API doesn't currently offer a start-point control.
Q: I don't see the Add audio option. What should I check?
A: Make sure that the New post experience is turned on. Go to the Calendar, click the settings icon in the upper right corner, and toggle on New post experience (Beta).

A: Make sure you've selected Reel as the post type — the option appears only for Instagram Reels.
