To successfully connect your Threads account to a Kontentino, ensure that:

βœ” Your Threads account is linked to an Instagram Business Account.

βœ” Your Instagram Business Account is connected to a Facebook Page where you have admin access.

βœ” You have granted permissions for third-party app access.

πŸ”Ή Step 1: Ensure Your Threads Account Is Linked to Instagram

  1. Open the Threads app and go to your profile.

  2. Tap the menu (☰) in the top-right corner and go to Account settings.

  3. Tap "Other account settings" and check if your Threads account is linked to your Instagram account.

πŸ”Ή Step 2: Confirm Your Instagram Account Is a Business Account

  1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.

  2. Tap the menu (☰) β†’ Account type and tools.

βœ” Your Instagram account must be set to "Business" for full API access.

πŸ”Ή Step 3: Verify Your Facebook Page Connection & Admin Role

Since Threads is managed via Instagram, your Instagram must be linked to a Facebook Page:

  1. Go to Facebook.com and open the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram.

  2. Navigate to the Professional dashboard β†’ Linked accounts.

  3. Check if your Instagram Business Account is properly linked.

  4. Ensure your Facebook profile has Admin access under Page Access.

βœ” If you don’t have admin access, ask an existing admin to grant you full permissions.

πŸ”Ή Step 4: Ensure Third-Party App Access Is Enabled

  1. Go to Instagram and tap the menu (☰) to go to settings β†’ App website permissions β†’ Apps and websites.

  2. Under Active apps, check if you have authorized the Kontentino.

  3. If the app is not listed, try reconnecting through the Kontentino platform.

βœ” If needed, revoke access and retry the connection.

πŸ”Ή Step 5: Try Connecting Again

  1. Enable pop-ups in your browser (Threads login may require them).

  2. Clear cache & cookies to prevent login issues.

  3. Log out and log back into Threads and Instagram.

  4. Try connecting Threads again to your Kontentino account.
