To successfully connect your Threads account to a Kontentino, ensure that: 

✔ Your Threads account is linked to an Instagram Business Account. 

✔ Your Instagram Business Account is connected to a Facebook Page where you have admin access. 

✔ You have granted permissions for third-party app access.

🔹 Step 1: Ensure Your Threads Account Is Linked to Instagram

Open the Threads app and go to your profile. 

Tap the menu (☰) in the top-right corner and go to Account settings. 

Tap "Other account settings" and check if your Threads account is linked to your Instagram account.

✔ If your Threads account is not linked to Instagram, it cannot be connected to third-party tools.

🔹 Step 2: Confirm Your Instagram Account Is a Business Account

Open the Instagram app and go to your profile. 

Tap the menu (☰) → Account type and tools.  

If you see "Switch to a professional account," your account is still personal - switch to Business (professional account).

✔ Your Instagram account must be set to "Business" for full API access.

🔹 Step 3: Verify Your Facebook Page Connection &amp; Admin Role

Since Threads is managed via Instagram, your Instagram must be linked to a Facebook Page:

Go to Facebook.com and open the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram. 

Navigate to the Professional dashboard → Linked accounts. 

Check if your Instagram Business Account is properly linked. 

Ensure your Facebook profile has Admin access under Page Access.

✔ If you don’t have admin access, ask an existing admin to grant you full permissions.

🔹 Step 4: Ensure Third-Party App Access Is Enabled

Go to Instagram and tap the menu (☰) to go to settings → App website permissions → Apps and websites. 

Under Active apps, check if you have authorized the Kontentino. 

If the app is not listed, try reconnecting through the Kontentino platform.

✔ If needed, revoke access and retry the connection.

Enable pop-ups in your browser (Threads login may require them). 

Clear cache &amp; cookies to prevent login issues. 

Log out and log back into Threads and Instagram. 

Try connecting Threads again to your Kontentino account.
