To successfully connect your Pinterest account to a Kontentino, ensure that:β¨
β Your Pinterest account is set up as a Business Account.β¨
β You have the Manager role on the Pinterest Business Account.β¨
β You have at least one public board created.
πΉ Step 1: Check if Your Pinterest Account Is a Business Account
Go to Pinterest.com and log in.β¨
Click your profile picture in the top-left corner or tree dots (...) in the top-right corner.
Go to Settings β Account Management.β¨
Look under Account information:
β If you see an option to "Convert to a Business Account", it means your account is still Personal - switch to Business to proceed.
β If you donβt see this option, your account is already Business.
β Solution: If your account is Personal, switch to Business for full API access.
πΉ Step 2: Check Your Role on the Pinterest Business Account
Go to Settings β Permissions (or Business Access).β¨
Check your role under Team Members.β¨
Make sure you have the Manager role (this role allows you to connect Pinterest to third-party apps).
β If you donβt have the Manager role, ask the account owner to update your access.
πΉ Step 3: Ensure You Have a Public Board
Go to your Pinterest profile.β¨
Under Boards, check if you have at least one public board (it should not be secret).β¨
If needed, create a new board and set it to Public.
β Solution: Pinterest requires at least one public board for a successful connection.

Enable pop-ups in your browser (Pinterest authorization may require them).β¨
Clear cache & cookies to prevent login issues.β¨
Log out and log back in to Pinterest.β¨
Try connecting Pinterest again in Kontentino.
