Did your Pinterest posts fail to publish, or can you not connect your Pinterest profile to Kontentino? Here are 4 simple steps that will help you solve it:
1. Check if you have a role assigned to your Business account
Log in to your Pinterest business account (you need a business account in order to have a role on a Pinterest account)
Access Business Manager: Click the menu icon in the top left, then select Business Manager under the "Manage business" section.
View employees: In the menu on the left, click Employees and make sure you have a role assigned as a Manager.
If not, please ask an Admin or Manager in the account to invite you (as a manager) via Employees → Add employees:
2. Remove Kontentino integration on Pinterest
Go to your Pinterest account and click the arrow in the top right corner → Settings → Security → find Kontentino in App logins → click on Revoke Access:
3. Authorize the connection in Kontentino
Once the integration is removed:
Go to Kontentino → My Profile → Authorization → navigate to Pinterest and click on Reconnect.
Grant Kontentino the necessary permissions by clicking Give access.
Select the Pinterest profiles/boards you'd like to manage in Kontentino and click Add profile.
Now you're all set! Go and try to schedule your post, or connect your Pinterest profile.
