Method 1: Drag-and-Drop in Calendar

Perfect for quickly moving posts around your calendar.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Calendar view
Open Calendar in the main navigation
Make sure you're viewing the correct month

  2. Grab the post
Click and hold the post card
It will lift and follow your cursor

  3. Drop it on a new date
    Drag to the desired date
    Release to drop

  4. Confirm the change
The post automatically moves to the new date

Additional Drop Options

While dragging a post, you’ll see special drop zones:

  • 📋 Duplicate zone – Copy the post to a new date (keeps original)

  • 📁 Move zone – Move to another profile or workflow status

  • 💡 Ideas panel – Remove date and save as an idea

💡 Pro tip: Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) while dropping to duplicate instead of move.

  • Grid view

Method 2: Full Post Editor

The post will be rescheduled to the new date and time.

What Happens When You Reschedule

For Draft and Approved Posts

  • ✅ Post moves to new date/time

  • ✅ Status remains unchanged

  • ✅ Content and settings stay the same

For Scheduled Posts (Already Queued)

⚠️ Important:

  • If you only change date and/or time
    Status remains Scheduled

  • If you change anything else (text, media, etc.) →
Status changes: Scheduled → Approved by client
→ You’ll need to schedule it again (by clicking the Schedule button)

This ensures you can review changes before publishing.

For "Exported in Advance" Posts (Already Queued On Facebook's scheduled)

  • Drag-and-dropping to another date is not allowed

  • Any changes made to the post in Kontentino will not be applied to the actual scheduled post. To reschedule:

    • Edit the post date/time directly on Facebook (access it by clicking See post), or

    • Delete the post from Facebook (access it by clicking See post) → open the post in Kontentino and click Edit → update the date and time → SaveSchedule / Export the post again.

  • More info on editing/rescheduling exported posts in this guide

For Published Posts

❌ Cannot be rescheduled

Instead, duplicate the post and schedule again

FAQs

Q: Can I reschedule a published post?

A: No. Duplicate it and schedule again.

Q: Why did my post change to “Approved by client”?

A: Because you edited something other than date/time. This removes it from the queue intentionally.

Q: Can I reschedule multiple posts at once?

A: Yes, using Timesavers:

  • Select posts in Calendar

  • Click Timesavers → Move posts

  • Choose profile

  • Use custom date/time

  • Set new times

  • Click Move posts

Q: Does drag-and-drop keep the same time?

A: Yes. It only changes the date.
To change time, use the editor.
