Moving posts in Kontentino is quick and flexible. You can move a single post or multiple posts at once, and you always decide what happens to their publishing dates.
You can:
Move posts to another social media profile
Shift posts to a different time period within the same profile
Keep original dates, shift them forward, or set custom dates
🔄 Move a single post
Use this option when you need to adjust one specific post.
Steps
Open the post from the calendar
Click the three dots in the top-right corner
Select Move
Choose the target profile and content plan
Select how you want to handle the date:
Keep original dates
Shift all posts forward (by 7 days, 30 days, or a custom number of days)
Use custom date and time
Click Move posts to confirm
💡 Pro tip: Right-click on the post card in the calendar to open the context menu. Here, you can find actions like Move, Duplicate, Copy link, Delete, and more!
💡 Pro tip #2: Drag-and-drop a post into the Drop to move area (bottom part of the calendar) to move a post without having to open it!
📆 Move multiple posts at once (Timesavers)
If you need to move several posts - such as an entire campaign or a week of content - use Timesavers.
Steps
Select posts directly in the calendar
Click Timesavers in the top-right corner
Choose Move
Select the target profile and content plan
Set new dates:
You can assign a custom date and time for each post
Confirm to move the posts

When moving posts, you’re always in control of timing:
Keep original dates – ideal when switching profiles without changing your schedule
Shift posts forward – move all selected posts by a fixed amount of time (7 days, 30 days, or a custom number)
Custom date and time – set a new date and time
⚠️ User access notice
When you move posts to a different profile, users who don’t have access to the destination profile will no longer be able to view or edit those posts.
