Kontentino’s link shortener and UTM tag builder let you create, manage, and reuse links without leaving the post creation flow. You can quickly shorten URLs, add tracking parameters, and insert them into your post with a single click - keeping your workflow fast and organized.

How to create a shortened link

  1. In the post creation modal, click the Link icon in the post text area

  2. Click + Shortened link

  3. Paste the URL you want to shorten

  4. Choose one of the following:

    • Shorten and insert – adds the link directly into your post

    • Save – stores the link for later use

Optional settings

When creating a shortened link, you can customize it further:

  • Name – Assign an internal name to easily find the link later

  • Custom URL – Enable this to create your own link suffix (e.g. kntn.io/your_custom_URL instead of a random string)

  • Global link – Make the link available across all profiles in your account (otherwise it’s saved only for the selected profile)

  • UTM tags – Enable tracking by adding parameters such as source, medium, campaign, term, or content

How to use and manage shortened links

All saved links are accessible via the Link icon in the post text area. Expand a link to see both the original and shortened versions.

For each link, you can:

  • Insert into text – add it to your post with one click

  • Copy to clipboard – use it outside Kontentino or in places like when scheduling the First comment

  • Additional options (β‹―):

    • Edit

    • Delete

    • View Statistics (e.g. creation date, number of clicks)

Using shortened links and UTM tags helps you keep your content clean, track performance more effectively, and reuse links across campaigns without extra effort.
