You can connect TikTok to Kontentino in two ways - either by simply logging into your TikTok Business Account, or by using TikTok Business Center if your organisation manages assets there.

Before You Start: Requirements
To successfully connect TikTok with Kontentino, make sure that:
✔ Your TikTok account is a Business Account
Personal TikTok accounts cannot be connected through the official API.
If your account is still Personal, switch it to Business.
Option 1: Connect via Direct TikTok Login (Most Common)
If your TikTok profile is a Business Account and not managed inside a TikTok Business Center, you can connect it by simply logging in.
Open the profile selector in Kontentino / Use the Create button → + Profile → select TikTok.
Sign in to the TikTok Business Account you want to connect.
Grant permissions - approve the required permissions for Kontentino by hitting Continue. All these are necessary for publishing.
Choose the profile - once logged in, select the TikTok profile you want to manage in Kontentino and confirm.
✔ That’s it. Your profile is now connected and ready for scheduling.
Option 2: Connect via TikTok Business Center (For Teams & Agencies)
If your TikTok account is part of a TikTok Business Center, you must have the correct role there to connect it.
Required permissions in Business Center
You must be assigned Admin or Standard access under Business Center → Accounts → TikTok Accounts
If you’re not assigned, contact your Business Center admin to grant you access.
Check your Business Center role: Go to TikTok Business Center → Users → Make sure you have the correct role (Admin / Standard)
Confirm the TikTok account is linked in Business Center: Go to Assets → TikTok Accounts and check if your account is listed. If not, it needs to be added by a Business Center admin.
Connect in Kontentino
Once your permissions are correct:
Open the profile selector in Kontentino / Use the Create button → + Profile → select TikTok.
Sign in to the TikTok Business Account you want to connect.
Grant permissions - approve the required permissions for Kontentino by clicking Continue. These are necessary for publishing.
Choose the profile - once logged in, select the TikTok profile you want to manage in Kontentino and confirm.

Troubleshooting Tips
🔸 You can log in, but the profile doesn’t appear
You likely:
still have a Personal account, or
don’t have the right permissions in Business Center.
🔸 Someone else needs to connect your TikTok profile
Do not share login credentials. Instead:
Add them to your Business Center → Users
Assign permissions to the TikTok account. They can then connect it using their own login.
🔸 Publishing fails after connection
In Kontentino, go to My Profile → Authorization and click Reconnect next to TikTok.
Approve permissions again and re-select your TikTok profile.
