One of the best features of Kontentino is its collaboration - you can invite users to work together on posts, ideas, tasks, and approvals.
Our guide will take you through the necessary steps to set it up and assign different roles to users as needed. 👇🏻
How to invite a user?
Go to Settings in the left side panel
Click Users
Click New User
Pick a role and fill out the other required fields. Heads up: If you’re not an Admin, you won’t see the Admin role. Not sure which role would be the best? Check out this article.
Click Invite. The user receives an email with login instructions.
Select the pages you want the user to have access to. You can assign access now or later in the user's settings.
Click Assign
⭐️ NOTE: In the next step, you can either assign more profiles or proceed to the next step by clicking Done.
In case you want to edit a user:
Go to Settings
Click Users
Click on the profile
Click Edit in the top right corner
Once finished, click Save
⭐️ NOTE: To remove a user, click the red bin icon in the top right corner. You will receive a notification that the user has been deleted.
If you want to see all the deleted users or restore them, click the Show deleted users button at the very bottom of the Users section and press Restore. If you cannot see the Show deleted users button, it means that no users have been deleted from your account.
Invitation troubleshooting
“A member with this email already exists”
The user already exists (active or deleted).
→ Edit the user in Settings → Users. If you cannot find them in the list of active users, click the Show deleted users button at the bottom of the Users section and search for the user there. Once you find them, hover over their name and click Restore (only admins and managers can restore deleted users).
Can’t see the Invite User button or the Users settings section
Your role doesn’t allow user creation.
→ Ask an Admin or Manager for access.
Can’t invite an Admin
Only Admins can invite Admin users.
→ Ask an Admin to send the invite or upgrade the role later.
User didn’t receive the invitation email
→ Check spam, verify the email, resend the invite, or contact support.
