Having trouble publishing Google posts or connecting your Google profile to Kontentino? Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Check Your Role in Google Business Account

  1. Go to Business Profile Manager β†’ click the three dots next to "Profile Strength" β†’ select Business Profile settings

  2. Open People and Access, and make sure that your role is Primary Owner, Owner, or Manager.

2. Verify Google Account Status

  1. Confirm your account is active (not suspended, disabled, or restricted).

  2. If you recently changed your password, sign out and back in before reconnecting.
βœ” For Google Workspace users, ensure your admin allows external connections.

3. Enable Pop-ups & Cookies

  1. Go to Browser Settings β†’ Privacy & Security β†’ Site Settings β†’ Pop-ups and redirects.

  2. Allow pop-ups from accounts.google.com.

  3. Ensure cookies are enabled.
βœ” Blocking either can cause Google sign-in to fail.

4. Remove Kontentino integration on Google

  1. Go to Google Account Settings (click on your profile picture β†’ Manage your Google account) β†’ Security β†’ Your connections to third-party apps & services.

  2. Select Kontentino β†’ navigate to "Kontentino has some access to your Google Account" β†’ See details.

  3. Click Remove all access.

5. Reconnect Google in Kontentino

Once the integration is removed:

  1. Go to Kontentino β†’ My Profile β†’ Authorization β†’ navigate to Google and click on Reconnect.

  2. Sign in to your Google account and grant Kontentino the required access by clicking Allow.

  3. Select the Google profile/s you'd like to manage in Kontentino.

Now you're all set! Go and try to schedule your post, or connect your Google profile(s).
