Having trouble publishing Google posts or connecting your Google profile to Kontentino? Follow these steps to fix it:

1. Check if your Google account has permissions to connect to Kontentino

πŸ”Ή Step 1: Check Your Role in Google Business Account

  1. Go to Business Profile Manager β†’ click the three dots next to "Profile Strength" β†’ select Business Profile settings

  2. Open People and Access, and make sure that your role is Primary Owner, Owner, or Manager.

πŸ”Ή Step 2: Check Google Account Permissions

  1. Go to Google Account Settings β†’ Security β†’ Third-party apps & services.

  2. Select Kontentino β†’ navigate to "Kontentino has some access to your Google Account β†’ See details.

  3. Ensure permissions include seeing, editing, creating, and deleting Google Business listings.
βœ” If Kontentino is listed but not working, revoke access and reconnect.

πŸ”Ή Step 3: Verify Google Account Status

  1. Confirm your account is active (not suspended, disabled, or restricted).

  2. If you recently changed your password, sign out and back in before reconnecting.
βœ” For Google Workspace users, ensure your admin allows external connections.

πŸ”Ή Step 4: Enable Pop-ups & Cookies

  1. Go to Browser Settings β†’ Privacy & Security β†’ Site Settings β†’ Pop-ups and redirects.

  2. Allow pop-ups from accounts.google.com.

  3. Ensure cookies are enabled.
βœ” Blocking either can cause Google sign-in to fail.

πŸ”Ή Step 5: Reconnect

  1. Clear cache and cookies, then log back into your Google account.

  2. Try connecting Google Business Profile to Kontentino again.

2. Authorize the connection in Kontentino

Once the integration is removed, go to Kontentino > My Profile > Authorization > click on Reconnect and select the Google profile/s you'd like to manage in Kontentino.

Now you're all set! Go and try to schedule your post, or connect your Google profile(s).
