👋 What’s new in February?

February was a big one. We focused on speed, flexibility, and giving you more control - whether that’s over AI generation, approvals, bulk actions, or testing new content formats.

Here’s what’s new:

🤖 Multiple AI Models for Text & Image Generation

You can now choose your preferred AI model directly in Kontentino.

Selecting preferred AI model via Brand hub

To select a default AI model for text and image generation, edit your existing Brand profile in Brand hub → Profile Settings (click the settings/gear icon next to the brand profile name).

If you haven't created any brand profile yet, click the New button in the top right corner of the Brand hub.

Available models:

  • OpenAI GPT 5.2 (default)

  • OpenAI GPT 5

  • Google Gemini 3 Pro Preview

  • Google Gemini 2.5 Pro

  • Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.5

  • xAI Grok 4

  • xAI Grok 3

  • DeepSeek V3.2

Selecting AI model for image generation in Create Visual modal

You can still switch between available models anytime in the Create Visual modal, which you can open by clicking Create visual content with AI in the post creation window.

Available models:

  • Google Gemini 3.5 Pro (default) — strong photorealism & text rendering

  • OpenAI GPT Image 1.5

  • Black Forest Labs Flux.2 Pro

  • Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Image

  • OpenAI GPT Image 1

  • OpenAI GPT Image 1 Mini

What this means for you:
No action required. We’ve set powerful defaults that just work.

If you like to experiment, set your preferred text and image model in Brand Profile settings - it will be used for all AI generations for that brand (unless you switch the model for image generation in the Create visual modal)

🗑️ Trash Bin & Bulk Delete

Deleted posts are no longer gone forever. When you delete a post, it moves to Trash, where it stays for 60 days before permanent deletion.

From Trash, you can:

  • Restore posts

  • Delete them permanently

How to use it

  • Delete a single post: Open it in the calendar → click the trash icon

  • Delete in bulk: Select multiple posts → click Timesavers → choose Move to trash

  • Access the Trash by clicking the Additional items menu (three dots) in the top right corner of the Calendar → click Show trash.

This gives you a safety net when cleaning up campaigns or removing content by mistake.

🔁 Undo Approval in Approvals Section

The Approvals section organizes all posts waiting for internal or client approval in one place.

Now, after approving a post, you can immediately Undo your decision. If you click Undo and confirm, the post returns to Pending internal approval or Pending client approval, depending on the original workflow.

⚠️ The Undo option is available only while you remain in the Approvals section. If you refresh or leave the page, the option disappears.

Perfect for those "wait, not yet" moments.

📥 CSV Import (Frictionless Batching)

We’ve introduced a simplified CSV import focused on speed and zero technical friction.

How it works

  • Simple 3-column CSV (template here): Date, Time, Text

  • Automatic recognition of multiple date formats (e.g. DD-MM-YYYY and MM-DD-YYYY)

  • Text-first approach - no complex image URLs required

Why it matters

  • Move 50+ ideas from a brainstorm sheet to your calendar in seconds

  • No need to host images externally

  • Reduced format errors and bulk-upload frustration

Best practices

  • Use CSV for recurring series (e.g. weekly themes)

  • Bulk-upload your text content if you're migrating from a different social media management tool

👉 Full guide available in our dedicated CSV import article.

🎬 Trial Reels (Test Before You Go Public)

Trial Reels let you test Instagram Reels with non-followers before sharing them with your full audience. Learn more about the feature here.

How it works

  • When you toggle Trial, the Reel is shown only to non-followers

  • It won’t appear in followers’ feeds or on your main profile grid initially

  • After ~24 hours, you receive performance insights natively in your Instagram app

  • If performance is strong, you can Share with Everyone

  • Optional: auto-share if performance hits a threshold set in your Instagram app within 72 hours

Why use it?

  • Test new niches without confusing your audience

  • Compare different hooks

  • Reduce “posting too much” anxiety

⚠️ API requirement: The account must have at least 1,000 followers to use this feature.

🖼️ Facebook Gallery Posts - Now Up to 20 Images

You can now schedule and publish Facebook gallery posts with up to 20 images (previously 10).

How to use:

  1. Select a Facebook profile

  2. Create a post or a post idea

  3. Choose Photo/Gallery

  4. Upload up to 20 images

Note: Images and videos cannot be combined in one gallery post.

📅 3-Month Calendar View

You can now switch to a 3-month calendar view for better long-term planning.

Available views:

  • 1 month

  • 3 months

  • Custom

How to activate:

  • Click the time period selector next to the profile selector in the top left corner

  • Choose 3 months

  • Select the starting month

This dramatically reduces clicks when managing campaigns that span multiple months.

🧲 Drag & Drop Multiple Posts

You can now drag and drop multiple selected posts at once.

How it works

  1. Select multiple posts using the checkboxes on post cards

  2. Drag them to:

    • Another day in the calendar (changes the dates of all posts to the date where you dropped the posts)

    • The Post Ideas section (removes dates)

    • The bottom action zone:

      • Drop to move (to another profile and/or time)

      • Drop to duplicate (to another profile)

This makes large calendar reorganizations significantly faster.

🚀 What this means for you

February was about removing friction at scale - smarter AI control, safer approvals, faster batching, stronger testing tools, and more powerful bulk actions. Less manual work, fewer mistakes, more room to experiment.
